Welcome!
At the two year anniversary of my blog "The Textpatriate" I noticed that my blog was moving from international HR to general HR issues.
Part of this was due to finally getting my general HR certification - the SPHR, the other part, now I'm an HR Generalist (with no international anywhere in there at all, for the first time in eight years). This is an awesome achievement to finally make this change and one that I am celebrating!
But how I succeeded in making this change is the topic of another blog post...
Bottom-line, it dawned on me that my clever blog name didn't make sense anymore!
So today, I founded this new blog "2HR4HR" which fits my purpose, to share best practices and learnings from my many years in all areas of HR.
It's a new beginning for me - my other blog has reached 33k visits, helped me to get a freelance writing gig and has exceeded all expectations for me. I'm not sure if I'll do anymore updates to textpatriate.com - not likely...
I need to build a new audience, new twitter followers and new ideas to share.
In ending, I love HR and I love to write and I love meeting people who are open to the free exchange of ideas to better everyone. I hope you'll share this space with me, it interesting, useful, challenging, thought provoking and above all - helpful.
